RhytidectomyFacelift is
a cosmetic surgical procedure used to reduce the visible signs of aging on your
face by tightening the skin and deeper tissues. Good candidates for a
Facelift: - You have deep lines and wrinkles in the face and neck.
- You have loose, sagging skin in the cheeks and jawline.
- You
have deep folds in the creases between your nose and mouth.
- You are in
good physical and emotional health.
- You have realistic expectations.
Your cosmetic consultation:During your initial consultation,
you will meet with the plastic surgeon and staff. Your previous surgeries, medical
history, and medications you are presently taking will be reviewed. Your overall
physical and emotional health will be assessed. Your skin quality, deepness of
wrinkles and folds, and facial bone structure will also be evaluated. Your plastic
surgeon will recommend what you will benefit most from and if you will need additional
surgery in conjunction with the facelift to achieve your desired result. For example,
your doctor may suggest eyelid surgery, a brow lift, or laser resurfacing to complete
your look. Risks and limitations associated with the surgery will also be discussed.
An office staff member will review surgical costs. |
