The Juvederm treatment line includes a number of products, each aimed at targeting unique areas and concerns.
Restylane is a filler injection that includes a natural substance produced by your body known as hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid helps the skin plump appearance and hydrated. There are different types of Restylane products, including Restylane Defyne, Restylane Refyne, Restylane, Restylane Silk, and Restylane Lyft. Radiesse is made of small Calcium Hydroxyapatite gel microspheres. Upon injection, the result is immediate volume. And because Radiesse also promotes natural collagen production, the results are long-lasting. Radiesse treatment areas include regions of the face where there is volume loss or wrinkles, such as the chin, cheeks, under the eyes, and around the lips and nose. Radiesse can also be used to help plump up hands that are suffering from volume loss due to aging or other conditions.
Sculptra, which is primarily used on the face, is composed of poly-L-lactic acid, a synthetic, biodegradable substance used in various treatment solutions and devices, including dissolvable stitches. Upon injection of Sculptra, poly-L-lactic microparticles are absorbed by the body, helping to gradually stimulate collagen growth over time, resulting in added facial volume and reduced appearance of wrinkles. Sculptra treatment areas may include the cheeks, temples, forehead, around the lips and nose, under the eyes, and more. In some cases, Sculptra may be used in the buttocks or thighs.
